Golden Editions - Hatter Pendant Lamp + Handwoven Lantern | Navy blue

Description: This sculptural suspension combines two forms: a flat round shape and an inner lantern, highlighted by colorful stripes. Its delicate weave creates a beautiful light while decorating your room beautifully, whether switched on or off. Designed by Anglo-Ghanaian designer Sara Efia Reddin, the suspension is entirely hand-woven using a traditional basketry technique from Bolgatanga, northern Ghana. It will look great above a dining table, in the living room, or even in a child's bedroom! The weavers' association that makes the Hatter + Lantern suspension uses naturally durable Veta Vera grass in a beautifully tight, smooth weave. The reeds are twisted by hand and small batches are colored with vegetable or food coloring in cauldrons.
