The story behind Billecart-Salmon’s Le Clos Saint Hilaire Blanc de Noirs Brut is one of family history. In the 1950s, François Roland-Billecart’s grandmother set aside a garden next to the family’s home for their enjoyment. On realising the terroir's potential, the family planted the first Pinot Noir vines there in 1964. The grapes grown on these vines are used to create this single-plot Champagne, making it a rare vintage destined to age beautifully.
