Don't use too much water. This could cause boiling and injury. Do not heat rapidly to high temperatures, and be sure to stir well during heating. Remove the lid when using in an oven, as a rapid rise in temperature can cause breakage. Wash and dry immediately after use and keep dry when not in use. Wash with care. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool. Do not use hard metal objects to remove burnt residue. If the pan is burnt, bring water to the boil in the pan, add 1 tablespoon baking soda and simmer over low heat for 2-3 minutes, allow to cool and scrub with a melamine sponge.
