Bayou XO Mardis Gras Rum, 70 cl

Matured for at least six years using a Solera method and finished in ex-sherry casks, Bayou XO Mardi Gras is a complex, fruity rum that captures the spirit and liveliness of Louisiana's famous Mardi Gras celebrations. Sweet aromas of dried fruit and summer flowers mingle with cedar wood and tobacco on the nose, and the palate offers notes of prunes, apricots, plums, tobacco and honey, with a spicy, oaky edge.

Product Description

Despite owning Sugar Cane being grown in Louisiana since the early 18^th Century little if any Rum had been distilled in the state. Bayou itself only came to life in 2013 but with it came the latest technology which was used only to enhance rather than take over traditional methods. Such has been its success, Bayou is now available throughout the USA.

Tasting Notes

Hand or machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
