Storywood Speyside Añejo Tequila, 70 cl

The Storywood Tequila range introduces a Scottish element to the Mexican spirit, by maturing it in single malt Scotch whisky barrels! This Añejo expression was aged for 14 months in casks from Dufftown in the Speyside region, imparting generous helpings of caramelised nuts and soft fruit, while keeping the rich, earthy, vegetal notes of the agave at the core.

Storywood's mission is to bring new flavours to tequila through oak. They work with distilleries, wineries, and cooperages from around the world to hunt for the freshest casks that we can get our hands on. Their oak and flavours are what we love, but its the places we go and the people that we meet along the way that becomes our story. Storywood is our chapter one with many more to come.

Tasting Notes

Roasted bell pepper, peanut brittle, earthy oak, caraway and apricot

Hand or machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
