La Dame de Montrose is a poignant tribute to the estate’s former director.

The La Dame de Montrose is the second label of the Château Montrose estate, first created in 1983 as a tribute to Yvonne Charmolüe who single-handedly ran the vineyard from 1944 to 1960. Known for its merlot-predominant blends that offer distinctive red-fruit aromas, this wine achieves a silky blend every year. The 2022 vintage showcases a juicy palate that segues from red to black-cherry fruit, accompanied by black-plum and liquorice aromas, with a fine-structured finish of cinnamon.
