Portuguese brand Bordallo Pinheiro has joined forces with Brazilian NGO Ecoarts Amazônia to create the Amazónia collection, which has been honored with the German Design Award 2020 as a Gold Prize Winner of the European Product Design Award. A portion of the proceeds of the collection will be dedicated to the reforestation of the cities, rural areas, and indigenous villages of Mato Grosso, where Ecoarts Amazônia is based.
