The ceramic is not glazed, but remains in its natural, matte, porous state, as if it had come from the hands of the ceramist. Its surface absorbs light rather than reflecting it, creating a natural, soft and enveloping ambience, without glare. Available in two complementary finishes, Terracotta, the warm, mineral color of the Southern earth, and Chaux Blanche, luminous and refined like the walls of Mediterranean homes, raw Gigaro blends effortlessly into any interior. Inspired by the Provençal capeline that dances with the wind and plays with the light of the South, its generous shape captures light from above and diffuses it downwards in a crown. Hand-crafted in Portugal in our own workshops, each piece is unique, with slight variations in surface and nuances of material - the signature of our craftsmanship. The unfinished Gigaro combines naturally with our wall and floor lamps in the same finish for total luminous coherence. It can also be combined with our ceramic coffee tables and occasional tables to anchor the space in an authentic Mediterranean spirit.
