Bonny Doon - Vin Gris de Cigare Rose - Central Coast

Overview: Considered Bonny Doon's 'pink wine of the earth', Vin Gris de Cigare has been a staple for the wineries portfolio.Varietals/Vineyards: The blend is made up of 47% Cinsault, 42% Grenache, 6.5% Grenche Blanc, 4.5% Clairette Blanche. Winemaking: Grahm has utilized post-fermentation bâtonnage to add a wonderfully creamy texture. Each lot is picked at their peak levels of ripeness. Tasting Notes: The Grenache dominates this blend - a benefit of a cooler year. Wild strawberry, peach, guava and rhubarb and very discreet scent of white pepper.

Tasting Notes: Strong chiseled stone aromas meet with light nectarine and Tuscan melon on the nose of this bottling. Clean and delicate on the palate, the wine's bright and tense form surrounds peach and riper green-apple flavors.
