Established in 1881, Bunnahabhain distillery is situated on the remote Bunnahabhain Bay overlooking the Sound of Islay. Surrounded by dramatic peaks and the undulating rhythms of the sea, this idyllic backdorp is the perfect setting for crafting whisky. Comforted by the echo of gently lapping waves, this cask-strength 10-year-old is the perfect marriage of the finest port finished Bunnahabhain, and sherry matured Bunnahabhain. Each of these have been brought together post maturation, to form this unique spirit. The result is an intriguing intertwining auburn dram, alive with aromas of vanilla, caramel and oak, and imbued with fulsome fruit flavors and a harmonious marriage of cinnamon spice and nuts. Dancing daintily on the tongue, it echoes with salty whispers of the seas that once surrounded it.

Tasting Notes: 

• Color: Deep auburn
• Nose: Rich and creamy vanilla with notes of brandy butter, caramel, berries, and subtle oaky hints.
• Palate: Sweet red and black fruits, cinnamon spice and roasted nuts, with a slight sensation of saltiness. 
• Finish: Long and lingering, with traces of chili chocolate and floral candy.

Hand or machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
