Our tequila is the culmination of this dedication and a rejection of “good enough” and “that’s just the way it’s always been done.” Founded by classically trained chef and sommelier John des Rosiers, Cambio is a distillation of classic tequila tradition filtered through the culinary science and restless craftsmanship of a 30-year veteran of the world’s finest kitchens and bars. 

Great things can sometimes come in unexpected ways. A simple error in preparation and toasting barrels led to a complete surprise batch—our mistake, your good fortune. With long, beautiful notes of caramel, butterscotch, airy vanilla, and slow roasted agave, this experimental batch was quite literally the very first test production with our new partner ZB Distillery. Bottled at cask strength with no dilution, we think you’ll enjoy this happy accident. Salud!

Tasting Notes: Leading with an almost cognac like nose of gently toasted French Oak. Deep roasted agave, loads of spice, and tropical fruits on the mid palate. An incredibly long, lingering finish. Oak tannins and tons of texture create a palate sensory density uncommon to anejo tequila

Hand or machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
