Overview: In 1861, Charles Krug, the visionary father of Napa Valley winemaking, established the winery that started it all. The Mondavi Family purchased this already iconic estate in 1943, and for over 75 years and four generations they have been passionately perfecting an enduring legacy for those generations still to come.

Our core foundation wines are crafted from pristine fruit, sustainably grown on family estates throughout Napa Valley’s most prized wine appellations.

Tasting Notes: From an inky-dark color to intense black-fruit aromas to mouth-coating blueberry and dark chocolate flavors, this concentrated and polished wine is a showstopper. Layers of soft, fine-grained tannins support the deep, dried-fruit flavors and generous, cocoa-laced oak accents.
