The Cruz De Fuego brand was launched in 2015 and was immediately awarded the distinction of best-tasting mezcal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It is produced at Productores Del Buen Agave, a certified mezcal artisanal palenque; in other words, there are no automated processes throughout production. Margarita Blas and Carlos Mendez, mother-and-son team, actively work to protect the traditions behind
artisanal mezcal-making, and each expression follows the same production process: cooked in conical (underground) ovens, open-air fermentation, milling by tahona-wheel, and copper distillation, twice distilled.

A stellar example of all the qualities that make Madrecuishe so beloved amongst the Agave karwinskii subspecies. Bright green herbal notes on the nose set the stage for powerful fiber and vegetation cut with racy minerality—like moss growing on stone beside a fast moving river. Coursing throughout are whispers of bell pepper and honeydew, with a dry clean finish that leaves you reaching for more. An instant hit. 48% ABV.

Hand or machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
