The essence of time. The 2023 Release Glenturret 30 Years Old is derived from a search for specific flavours which were found in five of our precious older casks. European oak imparts a traditional rich fruit flavour combined with hints of brandy and ginger. A port pipe imbues a warm ruby hue and touches of red fruits. Sweeter notes of tropical fruit and bananas inspired by the character of our delicate new make spirit are added by two American oak hogsheads. This whisky is in deference to the skills retained within the walls of The Glenturret. Even when creating our oldest whiskies, the respect for our traditional production methods is always at the forefront of thinking.

Tasting Notes: A summers day picnic – tropical fruit salad and ripening bananas with a garnish of prunes and figs. Sweet brandy snaps dusted with ginger and cinnamon. A compote of red fruits topped by meringue and vanilla ice cream delivers a fruity finish shaded by subtle oak.

Hand or machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
