Guero 6 Year Rye Whiskey (750 ml)

The name Guero is very near and dear to Dave Phinney’s heart. It was the nickname given to him at his first harvest job where he was the only white guy on an all Mexican crew. It translates to “light-skinned”, and the days and nights of working in the winery as part of a temporary harvest team with this skilled crew remain some of Dave’s fondest memories.

Master Distiller Jordan Via started with a stunning 6 year old Rye and then finished the blend in Cognac barrels which brings an undeniable complexity and beauty to the finished Rye.

Distilled in Tennessee and aged at Savage & Cooke in Northern California. Primary aging in new charred American oak barrels, finished in barrels that previously held Fine Champagne Cognac.

Tasting Notes: Brooding and intriguing on the nose with orange marmalade and spicy oak. Expansive palate with an array of baking spices, caramel and honey. Gorgeous from start to end.

Hand or machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
