Sloe berries grow all over Europe, of course, but there’s something in the Devonshire hedgerows that sets the Plymouth variety apart. Whatever it is, it’s been working for two centuries and counting.

Hand or machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
