Sherwood Estate Pinot Noir Waipara Valley (750 ml)

Sherwood Estate Pinot Noir is crafted to showcase the vibrant fruit and elegance typical of New Zealand’s Waipara Valley. According to the winery’s tasting notes, most of the blend is placed into open-top fermentation tanks for a pre-ferment soak before fermenting naturally with indigenous yeast. Another portion is fermented in tank with pump-overs, and a small portion is reserved for whole-berry carbonic maceration. After fermentation, the wine undergoes partial micro-oxygenation to help it soften and round out earlier.

This thoughtful winemaking approach results in a juicy, expressive Pinot Noir with ripe fruit character, gentle oak complexity, and a silky texture.
