Overview: Focused on regeneratively farming tiny vineyards in Napa Valley and minimalist winemaking, James and Lorenza Allen channel their global experiences to make wines with balance, substance, and soul. They believe the accents of wine are best revealed by understanding its roots.

The Gould Family Vineyard on the north end of Sonoma Valley has two small blocks of riesling, planted in the traditional style and spacing - one in the rocky, rugged foothills of the Mayacamas range, and the other in the alluvial soils next to Santa Rosa Creek. We carefully picked from both parcels and co-fermented to show both soil profiles.

Tasting Notes: Lifted, salted lemon aromas turn to rich lemon curd, citrus blossom, and nectarine skin. Prominent lime notes come through on the lean, bright palate.

Pairing: Crisp duck salad.
