Woodinville Private Select Bourbon (MAVERICK II - Barrel# 7334) - Mash & Journey & Keg N Bottle Private Barrel Pick 750 ml

OVERVIEW:

On May 19th, 2022 The Mash & Journey Whiskey Club sat down with 5 of our patrons to help select the next two selections from Woodinville! Garrett Epling of Woodinville sat down with us to guide us through each barrel. Ultimately we ended up with two great barrels we named Mav and Ice. Two great barrels with two completely different flavor profiles that equally show the quality and flavors coming out of Woodinville!

TASTING NOTES:

• Barrel #7334 - 114.08 proof
• Nose - Frosted flakes cereal, green apple and pear combine with honey wine and lemon. As it opens up a sweet glazed donut comes through with black pepper, medium caramel and light oak.
• Palate - Bright and fresh apple and pear on the palate balance out with cream soda and cinnamon. Honey and black pepper pop on the palate along with juicy fruit gum almost turning tropical. Slightly oaky with a hint of dryness on the finish.

Hand or machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
