OVERVIEW:

On March 18th, 2022, Bourbon Pursuit Patreon members Bogan Painter, Blake Daily, James Farrell, & Ryan Gardner joined Ryan for 2 single barrel selections at Limestone Branch.  The folks at Yellowstone insisted that the team find transportation to the distillery and highly recommended the fine folks at Bardstown City Taxi co.  The drivers were memorable, so we had to honor them with our sticker themes for this pair of bourbons.  We think you'll enjoy "ASK FOR DANNY", and "BACKSEAT TOOTERS".

TASTING NOTES:  by Brian Beyke

• Nose:  Bright red fruits and vanilla erupt on the nose. Strawberry, raspberry, yellow birthday cake, buttercream frosting, and a corn-sweetened dusty salted caramel note before heavy brown sugar.
• Palate:  The palate continues to reflect the nose in this pour: juicy red fruits with a saturated richness. It reminds me of dusty Mellow Corn mixed with a bit of Four Roses with its hint of floral-flecked gentle spice and umami notes.
• Finish:  The finish is spiced and long, trailing with fruit and a dusty corn whiskey note - a beautiful throwback to times of old.

Hand or machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
