Freixenet celebrated being 100 years old not so long ago and remains one of the industry's leading lights. You may well have come across their sparkling wines before any of their still wine range. The reason for this is, quite simply, when Freixenet was born as a business in 1911 making still wine was highly problematic across Europe so the family decided to concentrate on fizz. 

Tasting Notes

Smartly presented, this Chianti has those classic characteristics you would expect- berried flavours with hints of spice and violet lead to an elegant finish.

Hand or machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid harsh chemicals or stain removers, which can affect the colour.
