Louis Roederer’s Cristal has reached legendary status within the world of Champagne. Commissioned originally by Tsar Alexander II, the cuvée reflects the finest blend of the vintage – made from grapes grown on the very best vines – while the clear, flat-bottomed bottle assured the Tsar of his safety amidst fears of assassination. The 2016 vintage comes from a cool, late vintage, which gives it a balance of intense aromas, vibrancy, a juicy palate, tactile bubbles and a chalky finish.
