This 12 year-old Rye Whiskey is a marriage of whiskeys that have been finished in Madeira, Sauternes, and Port casks. “Old World” is a result of a 4 year long innovation experiment that included creating and examining dozens of unique finishes, blending, and input from over 500 bartenders. The result is a whiskey that takes the elements that are most quintessential in an American rye - boldness and character - and fuses them with the elegance and grace of an 18 year old scotch.

In 2007 the Founder Raj Peter Bhakta bought a failed 500-acre dairy farm in the Vermont countryside.
Founded in 2008, WhistlePig is now the most awarded Rye Whiskey maker in the world. They live by a simple ethos: protect what makes Rye Whiskey great, toss out the rest, and then innovate to make it better. Their remote 500 acre hard-working farm in bucolic Shoreham, Vermont, is the perfect place to perfect their experiments with blending and finishing, ultimately leading to a portfolio of deeply complex Rye Whiskeys. In 2017 WhistlePig was awarded with the coveted ‘Best In Show Whiskey’ title from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
