Having a familiar sleeping environment will give your child a sense of security while sleeping. Start by using the crib with a raised box spring and high ends. As your child grows and begins to stand, you can lower the base. When your child is ready to crawl in and out of the crib on his own, you can remove one rail section and then the other. You can quickly and easily transform the crib into a beautiful junior bed by adding the junior kit. These are available separately. With these different settings, the bed has a long service life. The crib bed installed with one side open must not be used as an extra bed next to the parent's bed. The bed is not approved as an auxiliary bed. Our Leander Classic™ crib bed is made of molded beech wood. The color of the bed is lacquered onto the wood. This means that, in some cases, you'll be able to see the wood grain through the lacquer.
